Mr. Bush has a bachelor’s degree in School Social Work from Concordia Lutheran, Seward, NE, and a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education from the University of North Florida. He began his teaching career at the Florida School for the Deaf, teaching second grade. His career with Hillsborough County Public Schools began in 1997 as a teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students at Brandon High. After receiving certification in Educational Leadership from The University of South Florida he went on to become Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at Riverview High, Assistant Principal for Administration at Brandon High, Assistant Principal for Curriculum and eventually Principal of Robinson High in 2012. Mr. Bush has been married 18 years. He and his wife Lauren have two teenage daughters. He enjoys longboard surfing and
other water activities on the east coast of Florida.
